Emotional Foundations for Early Childhood Plus (EFFEC+) is a four-month program designed to give early educators the tools to serve and support the young children in their classrooms and their families. Through an understanding of child social and emotional development, and strategies to work with young children, participants learn methods to cope with daily stresses and help children thrive.
We are currently managing a cohort in Jackson, Cass, Clay and Platte Counties in the Kansas City area through funding from the Ewing M. Kauffman Foundation.

Courses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This training is designed to assist child care educators to earn Missouri approved clock hours toward licensure, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and CDA renewal.
All clock hours offered are approved in Missouri for clock hour credit.
